A Volunteer Journey That Spreads Warmth

Guided by the spirit of compassion and mutual support, on January 27, 2016, Hyosung Vietnam organized a charity program to deliver meaningful gifts to disadvantaged families in Hiep Phuoc Commune, Nhon Trach District, Dong Nai Province.

The donation ceremony was attended by Ms. Phan Thi Hiep, Vice Chairwoman of the Nhon Trach District Red Cross; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Quyen, General Affairs Manager of Hyosung Vietnam; Mr. Tran Van Dao, District Party Committee Member, Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, and Chairman of the People’s Council; Mr. Truong Ngoc Phuong, Member of the Commune Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Commune; together with representatives and employees of Hyosung Vietnam.

During the program, the Company presented 180 gift packages with a total value of VND 54 million to poor households, near-poor households, and families facing financial hardship. In addition, 300 gift packages and cash assistance of VND 300,000 per person were donated to members of the Nhon Trach District Association for the Blind.

Although these gifts could only ease a small part of their daily difficulties, what mattered most was the warmth, sincerity, and heartfelt care shared by everyone involved. They reflected Hyosung Vietnam’s genuine concern and commitment to supporting the local community.

There is a Vietnamese proverb that says, “A single meal when hungry is worth more than a feast when full.” The support offered through this volunteer activity came at a meaningful time, bringing not only practical assistance but also hope, encouragement, and happiness to those in need.

Although the journey has come to an end, it has left behind lasting memories—moments filled with kindness, compassion, and warmth. That warmth continues to spread to those who are less fortunate through acts of volunteerism and community service.

We hope Hyosung Vietnam will continue to organize many more volunteer programs in the future, creating opportunities for even more employees to participate in these meaningful activities. Together, by contributing our time and compassion, we can build a Hyosung that is rich in kindness and sharing, bringing the warmth of Hyosung to people everywhere.
